Intelligent work planning with real-time updates
With our user-friendly F0CUS Planning & Scheduling function, you can schedule orders to teams and send jobs straight to field personnel’s devices.
Existing bookings, team skills and parameters such as lead times and service level agreements (SLAs) are all taken into account by the system.
Users can select a contact to meet on site, add comments and set any pre-requisites including job packs and pre-start details. F0CUS users can also view all appointments and schedule in their preferred format – Daily, Weekly or Gantt chart.
To ensure one version of the truth, multiple users can work together knowing there is no risk of duplication or double booking of resources.
Capacity Management
The Capacity Management function allows operational teams to record the availability of resources in their areas and record periods of unavailability due to leave, training and sickness.
Information gathered in this function gives the planning teams the correct visibility of resource when planning work. It also ensures that teams are not allocated work when they are absent.
APPOINTMENTS
The Planning & Scheduling function allows you to create appointments for tasks. You can interact with tasks within an order once they are created.
Users can set the date and time that a task will be carried out, setting the time range to suit the task. You can allocate an appointment to particular personnel.
Make appointments with confidence that they will be kept – team availability is drawn from the Capacity Management function and team availability matrix. Identify who can carry out an appointment based on skills and qualifications.
Dynamic Workflows
Custom statuses allow the contract to build a powerful workflow into the ‘In Progress’ status of an order. These are configurable by contract and work type and allow a rich set of tools to manage the end-to-end ‘order story’.
At each stage you can set up the system to automatically generate new tasks. It will listen for task completion to move orders onto the next stage.
Keep all relevant personnel up-to-date with defined ‘storyboards’ that include checkpoints and automated responses.
The right people for the right job
You can tell F0CUS what skills, qualifications and accreditations are needed for each task, either for all personnel or just one member of the team. The Planning & Scheduling function will ensure that all tasks can only be scheduled to those that match the skills criteria.

With F0CUS’s Planning & Scheduling function you can optimise routes and get to appointments on time. Avoid late arrivals and set your teams up for success as F0CUS checks the distance and time between appointments and makes sure there is enough time allowed for travel.
